主要之研究興趣在智慧型系統設計及控制，其中包括模糊控制系統，類神經網路影像辨識與基因演算法之最佳化應用。此外，在精密運動控制方面亦多有涉獵。長期之應用研究領域包括：

  1. 磁浮平台之模擬與混成控制技術；

  2. 智慧型CMP機台研磨路徑規劃；

  3. 超音波熱療系統研發；

  4. 智慧型網路居家環境（智慧型感測元件，人體舒適模型）。

 

Research Summary:

The main research interests of Prof. Chen is on the Design and Control of Intelligent Systems, which includes fuzzy logic control, pattern recognition by neural networks, and optimization through Genetic Algorithms. Moreover, he also specialized in precision motion control applications. The specific topics of interests are listed in the following:

  1. High Intensity Focused Ultrasound Thermal Therapy

  2. Simulation of 2D magnetic levitational systems and its hybrid controller design.

  3. Intelligent CMP contour planning

  4. Treatment planning in ultrasound hyperthermia

  5. Intelligent e-Home (smart sensors, human comfort models)
